Last Night’s Dream

I woke up from the weirdest dream last night.
There I was, in a yarn shop that was just *loaded* with yarny goodness, browsing and squishing to my heart’s content. Suddenly, several men in black suits entered and searched for a few minutes and their search included the customers.
Then, in comes the POTUS, waving and nodding [...]

Story Teller: Nose Drum Episode

Lately, J has been quite the weaver of tall tales. Here’s one from on the way home from the park, when we had Sprocket with us and we ended up having to open the windows because her digestive system backfired:
“Once, there was this guy…” he started (and he always starts that way).
“There was this guy [...]

J giggles.

Wondering on a Wednesday

~ What God has in store for me today.
~ Will the candle display for the retreat look good? And would it be possible to get a few people together to work on them? I could do them on my own but S is right, others’ involvement would be a blessing to them, too. Besides the [...]

Monday Madness, Musing, Miscellany…

My husband is amused with me because I am very concerned about how the butterflies we have will make it in the wild. “They’ve never experienced life on the outside, ” he teased. I was, however, concerned for a legitimate reason. I don’t think anything is supposed to touch their wings and they’ve been flapping [...]

Sorry the photo’s blurry, but this is in a darkish corner of the house at the moment. We were supposed to keep them out [...]

I’m convinced my sister can take a much, much better photo of this thing. Jojo wasn’t the best model for this.
“Don’t say that, you’ll hurt his feelings!” Karen said.
“It’s ok, he can’t read,” I replied.
It’s done, however! And it does happen to look like a pea pod. Whoa! This time, I took [...]
